In the interest of comity, and friendship, and mutual respect, I suggest that the Republican Party just go ahead and give up.
Yep, I suggest that we Republicans just call it a day and head on home. We've fought the good fight. We've gotten up early and stayed up late trying our collective best to keep Gummint small and keep America safe and sound and prosperous. And we've done this while the Democrat Party has been endeavoring to seize all wealth and redistribute it for votes.
But it hasn't worked. No, America, there's just too damn many of them! And they've got the press and the media on their side, banging the drum every single day for all things liberal and "Progressive." And you've got to admit, it's pretty tough to get people to vote for a better tomorrow when the other side is giving them all sorts of free stuff today.
"Free college! Free health care! Free everything! Don't worry, we'll get the rich to pay for it!"
So I suggest we just give up. Let's fold our tents and head on home to Flagstaff or Des Moines or Chatttannooooogaaa. And then apply for some of that gravy the Dems are giving to folks for their votes. And there's several really good benefits which this action would likely bring:
1. We'd save $ Billions and $ Billions every year from shutting down CBP and ICE enforcement. Of course, we'd spend a $ Trillion or Two cleaning up the mess, but hey! Ya' gotta' break a few eggs if you want to make an omelette!
2. Once they bring us down to where Venezuela is today, which is lower than whale s**t, maybe then they'll learn that socialism doesn't work. Maybe. It never has, it never will. But as for me, I think we should just let them go ahead and try...
And while we're at it, I think good ol' POTUS Trump should go ahead and resign. He should give Hillary the Oval Office and apologize for all the trouble he's caused. Just think of all the money we'll save not having to investigate every pore on his aging body? Golly, is this remanufacturing America thing fun, or what?
(April Fool, America!)
