All of California is Now a "Gun Free Zone."

Lemme' start at the end and work backwards.  I have a suggestion for my fellow Californians, for at least the next 6 months:

                JUST STAY HOME!

Why?  Because the 9th District Court of Appeals just reinstated an unconstitutional law your BoyGuv signed into effect last September.  The one that went into effect on January 1st, 2024.  The one that forbids the carrying of concealed weapons by those fully-trained and -licensed to do so.  

For "public safety," your BoyGuv says.  To which I say, bulls*it. 

Now let's back up a tad.  The 2nd Amendment to the Constitution guarantees us, you and me, the God-given Right to "...keep and bear arms."  And that's been reaffirmed on numerous occasions by our Supreme Court.  Most recently in the "Bruen v. New York State" Case just last year, although they're trying to forget it.  

But you remember, right?  The one which kept NY State... 

...from forbidding the carrying of firearms in "...those places historically reserved for the exercise of 2nd Amendment Rights."  

Like nearly everywhere.

Ohhhhh, but not in Uber-Liberal enclaves where they want to disarm you and make you a ward of the State(ists).  Like NY.  And IL.  And OR, and WA and LA.  

And now, ta da!  California!  Knowing that it will be overturned by the Supremes, CA's 9th Circuit just ruled we have to wait until they take it up!  They made us all potential victims until it issues its rulings in June.  Six months from now!  Because we may not now carry firearms in 26 "sensitive" places.  

Like churches, and bars, and banks, and parks, and movie theaters, and libraries, and zoos, and schools, and restaurants, and even in supermarkets.  Basically, everywhere there are people gathered, and everywhere there's likely to be a Bad Guy posing a threat.

A Bad Guy who will look for those "gun free zone" signs before heading out for a massacre.

So, until the Supremes slap the 9th Circuit silly come June, I'd say we'd all be wise to simply go on home, lock our doors, pull down our shades and have Uber bring you your food for the next 6 months.

Maybe their delivery types won't get shot as they shop for our groceries...
